Since India’s Independence, the Southern Railway Women’s Welfare Organization has continuously worked with dedication and compassion to support railway employees and their families. The organization is inspired and guided by its parent body, IRWWO (Indian Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation).
SRWWO focuses on women empowerment, social welfare, educational support, and economic development. Through meaningful initiatives and community service, the organization encourages women to become self-sufficient, confident, and independent in every aspect of life.
Divisional organizations function under the guidance of the Headquarters in Chennai. Under the leadership of Honorable President Dr. Bina John the organization continues to grow stronger through charity, education, and women welfare activities.
